Started in 1996, the main objective of 3F is to create awareness among the members of the community, especially among the educated class, about the need to get back to moral values and ethics in daily life.

The objectives also include fostering the fraternity of the members of the community, which had been considerably strained by excessive and unacceptable factionalism.

The Forum further aims at strengthening its relationship with brother communities through positive interaction, imparting to them the basics of the Islamic faith, and seeking their participation in Forum activities.

• Promote ethical and moral values by imparting religious and moral education and training, and by conducting seminars and discussions on related subjects.
• Publish periodicals, books and other print publications on relevant subjects and issues.
• Produce and broadcast audio, video and other digital media films, animations and feature films on relevant subjects.
• Work for communal harmony and inter-religious co-operation.
• Strengthen the religious faith of the community.
• Support causes against social evils such as drugs, liquor and adultery.
• Act as a link between the Ulama and the Umara.
• Encourage and promote social services.
• Foster friendship and fraternity among all sections of people.
• Work for unity among different Muslim organisations and facilitate their interaction.
• Extend financial support for education, housing and vocations to the needy.
• മത-ധാർമ്മിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും പരിശീലനവും നൽകിയും, ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ സെമിനാറുകളും ചർച്ചകളും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചും ധാർമ്മിക മൂല്യങ്ങൾ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക.
• പ്രസക്തമായ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ ആനുകാലികങ്ങളും പുസ്തകങ്ങളും മറ്റ് അച്ചടി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണങ്ങളും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുക.
• പ്രസക്ത വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ ഓഡിയോ, വീഡിയോ, ഡിജിറ്റൽ മീഡിയ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ, ആനിമേഷനുകൾ, ഫീച്ചർ ഫിലിമുകൾ എന്നിവ നിർമ്മിക്കുകയും പ്രക്ഷേപണം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുക.
• സാമുദായിക സൗഹാർദ്ദത്തിനും മതാന്തര സഹകരണത്തിനും വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുക.
• സമുദായത്തിന്റെ മതവിശ്വാസം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുക.
• മയക്കുമരുന്ന്, മദ്യം, വ്യഭിചാരം തുടങ്ങിയ സാമൂഹിക തിന്മകൾക്കെതിരായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുക.
• ഉലമാക്കളും ഉമറാക്കളും തമ്മിലുള്ള കണ്ണിയായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുക.
• സാമൂഹിക സേവന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക.
• എല്ലാ വിഭാഗം ജനങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലും സൗഹൃദവും സാഹോദര്യവും വളർത്തുക.
• വിവിധ മുസ്‌ലിം സംഘടനകൾക്കിടയിൽ ഐക്യത്തിനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ ഇടപെടലുകൾക്ക് വഴിയൊരുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക.
• ആവശ്യക്കാർക്ക് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, പാർപ്പിടം, തൊഴിൽ എന്നിവയ്ക്കായി സാമ്പത്തിക സഹായം നൽകുക.
